No tutorials

Dear people,

As you can see on my page, the tutorials are not shown, because I temporarily disabled them. I did this action, because I accidentally removed most images of the tutorials in Google Photos.
So unfortunately I have to put all images back and it's going to take a while to do that.

Thanks for all who are stopping by my page frequently. I hope I can make the tutorials operate as soon as possible.

Psp tutorial: African Heritage


This tutorial is entirely my own idea. The tubes are created by me, so please leave the layers intact. The tubes can always be used for personal stuff, you only have to ask permission first if you would like to use them in a tutorial.


This tutorial will be written in English.

I've made this tutorial in PSP X6, but can be made in other PSP versions as well. Don't forget to save your work from time to time. I assume you know how to work with the Mirror and Flip script in PSP X6.

Materials: 
African Woman In Traditional Clothes - here.
Lake Scenery (misted) tube - here.
Lion Love (misted) tube - here.
Purple Tropical Beach (misted) tube - here.
Various Flowers tube - here.
Silver Liquid mask - here.

Download all other materials here.
Place the tubes, masks, etcetera in the right folders.

Plugins:
Greg's Factor Output Vol. II.
  • Foreground colour: #7c25b5
  • Background colour: #d8b1f3

Ok, let's start!


1)
Open a new image of 750 x 550 px.
Make a linair gradient with your foreground colour:

2)
Add a new layer and fill it with the colour #fca72e.
Open the mask "Silver_Liquid-Nolver_05032016" and go back to your work.

3)
Layers ---> New Mask Layer ---> From Image and use the file "Silver_Liquid-Nolver_05032016" from the Source Window, use Source Luminance, Invert Mask Data not checked.
Layers ---> Merge ---> Merge Group.
Effects ---> Plugins ---> Greg's Factor Output Vol. II ---> Pool Shadow ---> default settings, only change the Intensity value in 50.

4)
Add a new layer. Press on Ctrl + A.
Go to File ---> Open and search for the file "Illuminating abstract background" ---> Open.
Edit ---> Copy.
Go back to your work.
Edit ---> Paste Into Selection.
Change the Blend Mode to Luminance.
Duplicate the layer. Go to the menu Layers ----> Merge ---> Merge Down. Change the Opacity to 81.
Remove the selection.

5)
Copy and paste the tube "Purple_Tropical_Beach-Nolver_02082014" as new layer on your image.
Resize the image with 75%, bicubic, Resize All Layers not checked.
Move the layer to the top on the right side.
Change the blend mode to Multiply and lower the opacity to 59. Example:



6)
Copy and paste the tube "LakeScenery(misted)-Nolver_02062014" as new layer on your image.
Resize the image with 75%, bicubic, Resize All Layers not checked.
Move the layer to the top on the left side and change the blend mode to Luminance Legacy.

7)
Open the tube "Various_Flowers-Nolver_30032015".
Select the layer "Various single flowers".
Now activate the Freehand selection tool and select the first flower. Copy the selection, go back to your work and paste it as new layer on your image.
Resize the image with 75%, bicubic, Resize All Layers not checked.
Change the blend mode to Lighten.

8)
Copy and paste the tube "LionLove-Nolver_08052015" as new layer on your image.
Resize the image with 56%, bicubic, Resize All Layers not checked.
Move the layer to the bottom on the right side.


9)
Copy and paste the tube "AfrWoman_In_Trad_Clothes-Nolver_07042016" as new layer on your image.
Resize the image with 120%, bicubic, Resize All Layers not checked. Put her on the left side.
Duplicate the layer with the woman and select the original layer.
Adjust ---> Blur ---> Gaussian Blur ---> Radius: 10,00.
Activate the top layer.
Go to Effects ---> 3D Effects ---> Drop Shadow:

Layers ----> Merge ---> Merge All.
Image ---> Add borders (symmetric checked):

2px, colour #fca72e.
10px, colour #7c25b5.
2px, colour #fca72e.

Select with the magic wand the purple border of 10px.
Effects ---> Plugins ---> Graphics Plus ---> Cross Shadow ---> Default.
Remove the selection.

11)
Image ---> Add borders, 50px, colour white. Select the white border with the magic wand (Tolerance = 0; Feather = 0; Anti-Alias checked, inside).
Set the foreground colour to Pattern and search for the pattern "Red and golden Paisley Brocade" (angle = 0; scale = 100) and click on OK.
Fill the white border with the pattern.
Press on your keyboard on Shift + L: Hue = 196 Saturation = 169.
Selections ---> Invert.
Effects ---> 3D Effects ---> Drop Shadow: H/V = 0; Opacity = 100; Blur = 40,59.
Remove the selection.

12)
Image ---> Add borders: 2px, colour #fca72e, symmetric checked.
Copy and paste the tube "Golden bullet" as new layer on your image. Duplicate this layer 3 more times.
Place the bullets in the corners of the image.
Layers ---> Merge ---> Merge All.
Adjust ---> Sharpness ---> Sharpen.
Add your name/watermark on your image.
Save the image as JPG.
